Is there any way to directly upload pictures from an iphone 4?
Q. On android phones, you have the option to directly share an image after taking it or from the gallery via facebook, email, mms, etc - does the iphone have a similar feature?

A. Yes. Natively you can email and mms pictures. The rest are done with apps.

For email and mms, go into the gallery, select the picture and click the little rectangle with an arrow coming out of it in the lower left. It'll give you the option of email or mms (or assign to contact, use as wallpaper or print).

For other services you need to use 3rd party apps. For Facebook, the Facebook app should suffice. But for almost anything else imaginable, get the pixelpipe app. With it, you can upload pictures and videos to a myriad of services (you can even upload HD video to YouTube over 3G).
