How much does it cost to advertise on facebook?

Q. What does CPM & CPC mean? Can anyone who has advertised on facebook describe how much it cost you overall? Also, is there anyone who can mention if facebook advertising (and the specific type of facebook ad - social ad/etc, age group) was positive or negative for them in their ventures? I'd really appreciate any responses to this, thanks.

A. Setting up an ad account and advertising on Facebook is easy. You can do a CPC or CPM campaign and the minimum for both is $5. Like Google Adwords, you set your own budget.

You can also set who your target is with Facebook whether you want those who are college grads, which you can further target by major or by colleges attended; or college students or high school

Their online ad tool can be found at http://www.facebook.com/ads/

Where can I find statistics on companies that had a high increase in sales after advertising through FACEBOOK?
Q. Are there any stats on companies putting the most ads on Facebook, or companies reporting the highest increase in income because of Facebook advertising?

A. i hate ads

Advertising on facebook is what type of internet marketing? And what are the best services to try to sell?
Q. Facebook Advertising is part of Internet Marketing, that I understand. But there is a more niche type of marketing it is, and I can't think of the name (want to know, so I can do some research, and reading about it). And secondly, what are some good sources to go to for promoting products/services with high referral fees, and pay outs?

A. Social marketing.

High payouts don't always make for the highest profits, some products just don't sell, giving your campaigns low conversion rates, although Amazon only pays 4%-8% their high conversion can make promoting higher end products there worthwhile.

If you can pass the telephone survey questions regarding your marketing experience and ethics you can hook up wit CPA networks which pay for specific sales leads, generally easier to secure than an actual sale. While just getting aan email submission might earn $1 or so, getting someone to sign up for cosmetics samples for example Luminess Air can pay as much as $33.

Many of the more scammy promotions like surveys, "You've won" offers and content locker pages are promoting CPA offers.
