How do I get rid of Facemoods PERMANENTLY?

Q. I have downloaded Facemoods and it is a really cool product. For facebook but I need to remove it from my computer. I have tried everything that I know how to do. I have even tried to use the icon to reset my tabs but that doesn't work either. So how do I remove facemoods off my computer?

A. Facemoods description and removal instructions:

Install anti-malware software and remove the rogue anti-virus program from your computer properly.

Recommended anti-malware tools:
Malwarebytes Antimalware http://malwarebytes.org
SUPERAntispyware http://www.superantispyware.com
Spybot S&D http://www.safer-networking.org/
Hitman Pro http://www.surfright.nl/en/hitmanpro

Good luck!

How can I tell if my computer has a virus?
Q. I received one of the messages going around on facebook about a youtube video that is actually and accidentally clicked it. My computer went to the website and Norton recognized the threats and I closed the page immediately. I'm not sure if the virus got into my computer. Is there anyway to tell without doing a full scan of my computer?

A. A full computer scan is actually going to be the second-easiest method, aside from doing a partial computer scan. Usually, when you visit a site that your anti-virus says is a threat, then leave immediately, you got away safe. All you can really do now, is perform a partial or full (I recommend full) computer scan with your AV and pay attention for any suspicious behavior on your computer, such as your AV randomly saying a program is trying to gain access to the internet.

-Update-

I just realized - If pop-ups begin to appear and say that your computer is massively infected by viruses, trojans, etc. DO NOT follow the provided links to download a virus-removal tool. This means a virus did get onto your computer. This has happened to my father 3 times and my immediate response was to pull the power plug, then boot up and run a complete system scan with the AV software. This method has worked each time.

how do i get rid of a download bar on the top of the screen?
Q. whenever i go on facebook a Green AV bar slides down... you know how when you need active x control on your computer and a slide down bar comes down at the top and then you cick it to download? thats what it does with the Green AV except for it doesnt have an X in the top right corner to X out of it so it gets in the way of some menu choices on my page. it never goes away neither, every time i enter the site it pops ups.

A. Green av is a scam. Most of anti-spywares are able to remove it, like Spyware doctor, malwarebytes anti-malware or superantispyware.
You can also use manual removal instructions : http://www.2-viruses.com/remove-green-av
