How to override Net Nanny and get onto sites that are proxies?

Q. Net Nanny is the newest thing that blocks everything on school computers and detects what the site contains or is about such as proxies, personals, drugs alcohol... I don't want to pay any money. Please help!!!

A. Web filters like Websense can scan for and detect a proxy as soon as you try to connect to it. The technology is quite simple and all the web filtering systems now use it. It doesnât matter what the name of the proxy is, how fresh it is or anything else. The proxy will be detected and blocked. Sometimes on the fly and others a little while later by the administrator.

Say you get a proxy to work for a bit. What do you get for all the work involved in finding one that does? Most of these free proxies are are hacker pots designed to either steal your information or plant bots on your computer. The hacker then has control of your machine and can steal credit cards, attack web sites and send out tons of spam all from your IP address. The recent Facebook and Twitter DDOS attacks that took down their entire networks is a classic example of what people using proxies and getting infected enables.

The few that are not hacker related are loaded with advertisements, as thatâs how the owner is making money. The owner of the proxy is probably also watching everything you do so they can take whatever information they can, email addresses and such and sell them for a profit.

In either case the owner has no incentive to provide fast response, high bandwidth or compatibility with advanced web site features. You are being used by the proxy owner and they are delivering very little back to you.

Why do people hate on people that do online dating?
Q. Why do people hate on people that use the personals ads on craigslist? I don't use online dating, but I have looked at the personals in my city out of boredom and most of the guys are attractive.

So, why do people hate on it so much?
What's so bad about it?

A. a lot of people view it as lazy, since you're not making the effort of going out, looking your best, and socializing.

or that it's for the "losers" of the world who can't get "real life" girl/boyfriends, because they're "ugly" or "unattractive".

I know others who think it's creepy, and full of fiends, since practically every other day there's a story on the news about a pedophile stalking kids' myspaces.

Also, it's kind of cowardly, because anyone can lie hiding behind a computer screen; nothing is certain on the internet, and there are millions of ways to change the way you act, look, or are. the young, witty and fit 23-year-old hottie you've been chatting with could actually be an overweight, zitty and bored 14-year-old girl posting pictures she saved from some random person's facebook.

there's really nothing wrong with it, I guess. If you happen to find someone who doesn't lie and isn't a sexual predator. but really, it's more admirable to go out and start flirting at a club, or even the grocery store for christ's sake. if you've got nothing to hide, then this shouldn't be too hard. I met my girlfriend by going up to her in the middle of class and sitting on her desk. Not by writing on her facebook wall.

If you happen to find someone who means a lot to you via internet, then who f*cking cares what other people think? All that matters is you love each other, and it's real. F*ck everyone else and more power to you.

sorry for the essay I wrote you here. hope I helped though (:
