How do i become "invisible" in facebook searches?

Q. I want to set my Facebook account so that I can't be found in a facebook search for me. How do I do that? I need the directions for the most recent version of facebook.

Thanks

A. Click the account menu at the top right of any Facebook page and choose Privacy Settings.

Next to the Manage Settings for How You Connect heading, click Change Settings.

Select your preference from the dropdown menu next to âWho can look up your profile (timeline) by name or contact info?â

How to hide facebook from facebook search?
Q. There used to be an option under privacy settings. Under "how you connect" there was a button that said: who can look you up on facebook using your name. Now the only option is : who can look you up on facebook by searching your email or phone number.

Is it still possible to hide my facebook from the facebook search? Thanks.

A. it's a little different now

How do you change who comes up in your facebook search?
Q. When you type in the first few letters in the facebook search it comes up with suggestions of who you might be looking for. When you type, let's say "T", all your friends and people's pages you have viewed who's name starts with T comes up. I have a deleted a few people a while ago and they still come up when I type the first letter of their names and it's depressing the hell out of me.

Help!
Is there a way to delete all your previous searches from your history or something?

A. Well first of all it has nothing to do with deleting with your computer history, well if you dont want them to show up in your search results, go open their profiles and BLOCK them, other wise there is no way to remove it, because facebook keeps tracks of your lately friends and network peeps that they do come first in your search, all the rest in the end. Yet there is no way to not allow some one come in your search result. Hope that helps.
