What are the BEST FREE marketing tools and strategies to execute ?

Q. I'm currently in the process of launching my online store. But as a sole entrepreneur there's only so much I can handle. What should be my focus point towards driving targeted traffic and creating a large support group( followers, likes, etc) ?
I currently using Instagram, Tumblr, Facebook, and Craigslist. I'm currently looking to expand into youtube videos and creating a wordpress blog.

Can anyone provide any insight into Effective Marketing for Free. Any Tools, Sites, and etc ?

Thanks, Your information and expertise would be of great value.
Yes, I have been having a Google analytical account which tracks everything for me. But how can i generate more targeted leads without paying for advertisement ?

A. It often "takes money to make money", some believe a business based on free Search engine traffic has limited resale value, because it's not a certain reproducible model, in contract to paid advertising, which is more scalable and not subject to the ups and downs that search engines can cause.

Optimizing of your sales funnel may be optional when getting 'free' traffic, but is essential to make paid advertising profitable, these same optimizing practices, tracking with tools like Google analytics and design optimization with split testing will also improve free traffic sales rates. If not prepared to do advanced tacking, at least use something like the free Statcounter.com so you can see where your visitors have come from and what search keywords might have brought them.

If you choose them with care, SEO outsource workers can help increase your search ranking and traffic, take care the wrong one offering 1000 backlinks for $10 can sabotage your site ranking with all too obvious SEO spam, these outsourced assistants would mainly be providing backlinks, perhaps writing some content as well. You can find some smaller packages offered for $5 at Fiverr.com private blog networks looked particularly attractive and safe before a number of the more well published ones had sites recently de-indexed, still articles on a smaller blog network may be a plus.

Search engine traffic is still generally seen as the most powerful source of targeted traffic, a presence on all those social sites makes your site look more credible to the search engines, tending to boost search traffic.

If your site has text content and not just catalog pages, you can optimize for certain search phrases by including them in your text content and ideally in the title of pages. The Google keyword tool, made for their paid advertising customers shows you search phrase statistics for related terms (Local and [exact match] options give the most realistic results) certain 'buyer' keyword phrases demonstration a buting intent bring the best converting sales prospects. Someone searching for Plasma TV is much less likely to but than someone searching: Sony XB1193 TV price.

How Can I Generate Traffic To My Blog Site?
Q. I get like 30 hits a day which is pathetic. I dont have a lot of money to throw into promoting it and I promote it heavy on facebook and twitter yet its still not generating any traffic. Any suggestions/Ideas?

A. If you are promoting it heavily and still getting no traffic than their can be two problems.
First may be if you are checking stats from Google analytics, you should use the logs of your hosting to have the idea of traffic. Google Analytics shows very less stats than actual visits,
Secondly, may be you are promoting your site in the wrong audience, try the audience which are relevant to your site

Why isn't google analytics showing info from my facebook ad clicks?
Q. Do I need to add a tracking from facebook to my website? How do I do that?

A. Google Analytics only shows data from those sites which you have control of and can put ads on. So let's say you have a blog at blog.yourdomain.com and you've signed up for Google Anayltics. They will give you code to put on your blog since you control it. However since you don't control Facebook nor their ads, you won't get credit.

Also of note that it is against Google's TOS to click your own ads. You could potentially be disqualified for doing so.

Hope this helps.
