How do you meet people online?

Q. Have you met people online? How do you go about approaching someone online, like Facebook or Myspace? What do you say? What has your experiences been like?

A. It depends on if you want them as friends or to date. As friends, I usually add people that know my friends (on FB or myspace). Then I comment on their pics or status comments and make arrangements to hang out in real life. www.craigslist.com is a place for people with common interests to meet (under the personals section). Ok cupid or www.plentyoffish.com are free dating websites - just put your info and pics out there and message people that you find interesting.

How to use a dating site without paying?

Q. I signed up for a dating site, and it is free but you can't message anyone unless you pay.,
I favourited a couple of guys who seemed interesting, and they've favourited me back, but unless i pay, i can't message them.
Is there a way i can get in touch with them without paying? I've tried putting my name on so they can add me on facebook, and or where i work, but the moderators keep deleting what i've put.

Q. Im not talking about facebook or something like that. But a dedicated personals site that doesn't require paid membership?

A. all of them are free to browse, but all of them you have to pay to actually talk to the members, your best bet if you REALLY don't want to pay for it, is Craigslist, But that's mostly just sex. Hell before this whole crazy internet fad, you COULD just go to a bar, a church, or a orgy and pick up another, depending on what your looking for.
