Are there any free Facebook apps that select a random winner for you in a giveaway or contest?

Q. I'm trying to do a giveaway but need a way for the system to randomly select a winner. Is there an app that will help me conduct the giveaway as well as select a random winner on Facebook?. Also is there an app or something that helps me do it without using Facebook?

A. http://www.makeuseof.com/dir/random-line-picker-pick-a-winner/

Not Facebook though. :/

When creating a Facebook promotion, how do I go from clicking 'Like' to promo info?
Q. I have the page up and the contest kinda set, but need help with the Like button. When fans click "Like" on our page I want our contest details to appear, how do I get that to happen? I understand it has to do with meta tags, or am I wrong?

A. it has more to do with PHP server processing - the app you make for your page can detect if the current user has liked the page yet (via PHP), and can show a different page based on that variable

if the user hasnt liked the page yet, show the html that explains why they should

if the user has already liked the page, show the html that has a form for them to fill out so you can get their information (this information cannot be automatically mined from facebook, it has to be manually/voluntarily entered)

How do I set Facebook up where i can reward someone with a coupon, gift, etc for "liking" a company website?
Q. I'm trying to help someone out with their company. I neeed to know how to offer a reward for those who click "Like". Does anyone know how to set this up?

A. You can get as complicated as you like, and use Facebook apps. Go to the search box at Facebook and type in "contest apps" and "contest app" for some to try.

Note:

1) they generally cost (their free one doesn't work).

2) plus you load any replies into the apps software, not your own autoresponders, so you'll have to download Excel files and try to upload them into your autoresponders and then invite the people to confirm subscriptions (a good percentage probably won't).

Suggestion:

Try your own solution first, like you would on a website, using the FBML free Facebook app to insert your code (this will change in March, but get it going now or hire help in March to use their new code). Set up an autoresponder for people entering your content to use, have them click Like and follow you on Twitter (multiple steps to participate).

Type in "contests" on Google to find some contests going on to get the idea of how to set things up. Check on Facebook, too, as it changes all the time - -and is expected to more around March 11, too.
