Why does Yahoo keep creating products and services that they are just going to discontinue in a year or so?

Q. Yahoo keeps creating products and services that they just discontinue in a couple of years time? Why do they even bother? Why do they waste users time by creating Yahoo Personals, Yahoo Briefcase, Yahoo Pictures, Yahoo MyBlog, and then in a couple of years time... discontinue it?

A. It's because there are other sites we can use, like Flickr. We have unlimited storage so we don't need the briefcase. They changed personals to Dating, and we don't need my blog with the 360 changed to Pulse. They try to trim the fat. They have new programmers with new ideas. They are still discontinuing sites. The buzz for one. There were problem there. It's just like other websites, they change to keep up with the times and save money. Many are on facebook and are linked to Yahoo.

Will Facebook pull your activity off Craigslist and put it on your profile page?
Q. I went on the personals page for Craigslist and I'm concerned it will be posted on Facebook that I've been searching there for dates.

A. If your acct is link, then yes it will.

Go the Account menu at the top right corner of Facebook and choose Privacy Settings.

Next to the How You Connect heading, click Edit Settings.

Use the audience selector to choose âWho can see posts by others on your profile (timeline)?â
Note: People you restrict from seeing posts from others will not be able to post to your Wall (timeline)

My twitter, yahoo, and facebook got hacked into. What will happen to the person who did it?
Q. My facebook and twitter got hacked into and the hacker changed my info around saying that I was gay and not only that but the person also got onto my craigslist account and posted a male for male ad in the personals section and gave out my phone number! Will anything happen to the person who did this?

A. They'll be credited with revealing the truth lol
